Review:

Sammy’s serves sandwiches, salads, etc. and does it well. In fact, I’m wondering if they were one of the reasons for Subway closing up, here (like the poor food and service at Socorro’s Subway had nothing to do with it).

Their menu has a large selection of subs, sandwiches, and salads, along with all the sides you would expect for a deli. You can even build your own sandwich by selecting from any number of items on their menu. For the carb-conscious, they have low-calorie and low-carb breads available, too. They also have a good collection of desserts, my favorite being the lemon cake.

All of the sandwiches we’ve gotten have been good, if a little unwieldy at times (I had to try out the huge Dagwood), and the best feature to me is that they deliver!

Since they moved to their new location, they have the dining area to easily serve dozens of customers, and whenever I’ve driven by there’s certainly no lack of business -- something you want to look for in a restaurant like this.

Sammy’s is great if you are sitting in your office wondering what to have for lunch, or if you are at home after a hard day and don’t feel like going out or having pizza again.
